I'm Eilidh, the face behind the portraits! 

 

I have been drawing animals part-time for over 12 years now, totalling over 200 pets and livestock of all shapes and sizes from Bichon Frisés to Limousin bulls! 

 

Over the past decade I have also had a number of fantastic opportunities, winning the people's choice award in Jackson's Art pastel portrait contest in 2017 , and being selected to paint a sheep for the Royal Highland Show's 'Flock to the Show' art trail in 2024 (as pictured!). My painted sheep 'A Land of Parasites' combined my art and my full time job as a research scientist in veterinary parasitology.
