How does it work?

Book your slot

Take a look at the pinned post on my facebook page to see whether I am currently accepting new orders.

To book your space send a message to facebook page or email petportraitsbyeilidh@outlook.com to reserve your space. I ask for a 25% deposit to secure your slot.  If you need your portrait for a specific date please ensure you let me know as soon as possible.

Please note that while I will make every effort possible to complete portraits to specific dates, all quoted completion dates may be subject to extensions due to my other work commitments.

Select your photos

If you have a specific photo in mind please send it along with your enquiry. However, it can also be helpful to send across a few other photos to get the best likeness of your pet. Not sure what would make the best portrait? Feel free to send a selection of photographs that you think best represent your pet. The best photographs for portraits are in focus with as much detail showing as possible. However, I understand that sometimes it is not possible if the pet is no longer with us or if it is a surprise.

Select your portrait size

All of the portraits I offer are completed using coloured pastels. Portraits come with a toned background (e.g. brown or grey), as can be seen in my gallery of examples.

The sizes and pricing structure for each medium are listed below:

Pricing

Pastel (colour)

Rectangle

10 x 12″             £300

12 x 16″             £400

14 x 19″             £500

19 x 27″            £800

Square

10″                   £290

12″                   £350

Prices are for single subject portraits (i.e. one pet) without a background/landscape. Additional subjects or backgrounds add £40-80 per subject/background dependent on portrait size and complexity.

Sizes represent the paper size. Your portrait will be a good size within this with space for framing. Custom sizes can be catered for upon request.

Mock-up

In preparation for your portrait, I will create a digital mock-up to demonstrate what your completed portrait will look like. This is the perfect time to discuss whether you would like to add or remove anything from your portrait (i.e. collars, name tags and leads).

Drawing time!
